So I decided to take a break from my primary project and take a look at the hydrogen generator. I have to admit there is a LOT working against this technology – BUT I still am approaching it with an open mind, kind of excited to see what will happen – maybe I will stumble on to something that will complete the idea. So I’ve been eyeballing some things people have been trying online and I think I’ll give it a go while I work on other experiments. It’s using electrolysis to extract hydrogen and oxygen from water to use as fuel. No big deal, right? But still, I’ve been reading some interesting concepts and did a quick price analysis and I can do this without large cost to myself, which is good. (more…)

A small but important step forward in any electrical lab is to have access to all voltages and control to a hundredth of a volt what power is going into your electronics. Today, I have taken that small step haha. (more…)
